Understanding how your Expected Dividend Advance (EDA) is calculated can help you plan your finances more effectively. The formula is simple but relies on two key factors: your Lowest Quarterly Balance (LQB) and the EDA rate.
The formula for calculating your EDA is:
EDA Amount = LQB × (EDA Rate / 100)
For example, if your LQB is ₱50,000 and the EDA rate is 1.25%, your quarterly EDA would be ₱50,000 × (1.25 / 100) = ₱625.
Your LQB is the lowest balance in your Capital Contribution Account (CCA) during a given quarter. To maximize your EDA, avoid withdrawals that could reduce your LQB. A minimum balance of ₱1,000 is required to qualify for the program.
The EDA rate is set by AFPSLAI based on its financial performance and may vary each quarter. Check with AFPSLAI for the latest rates, and use our EDA Calculator to estimate your payments based on different rates.
Our calculator makes it easy to see how changes in LQB or EDA rates affect your quarterly dividends. Input your balance and rate to get an instant estimate and plan accordingly.
